Mexico City-based duo Titanic—the collaborative project of composer and multi-instrumentalist Héctor Tosta (aka I. la Católica) and cellist-vocalist Mabe Fratti—have announced their sophomore album, Hagen, due out September 5, 2025 via Unheard of Hope.
According to the press release, The follow-up to their acclaimed debut finds the pair diving deeper into their fragmented chamber-pop world, where dissonant strings, layered vocal textures, and modular atmospheres bleed into something instinctual and unplaceable. Alongside the announcement comes the release of lead single “Gotera”—a track that captures the duo’s precise sense of tension and slow unraveling. There’s sharpness here, but also a kind of intimacy that feels peeled from the walls of a quiet, echoing room.
