Berlin-based, Dutch-Italian composer and sound designer Aimée Portioli, better known as Grand River, has announced the release of a new album called All Above which will be out on February 24th, 2023 via Editions Mego. According to the press release, she continues her blooming between electronics and acoustics for personal, emotional themes. Piano, voices, strings, organs, guitars for strength or violence, synthesisers: each instrument embodies a different emotion and interlaces each other for a journey through different states of being. The tracks are like meditative poems rather than cinematic vignettes.
