Ghostloop introduces The Distant Sea, the first release on Noray Records. Built around a modular synthesizer developed over several years, the album brings together field recordings from Northern Germany, the Baltic coast, gardens and travels with slow-moving electronic textures and deep bass. Multitracked compositions sit alongside one-take recordings made directly from the modular system, preserving a sense of spontaneity while leaving imperfections intact.
