Seabuckthorn is the project of British musician Andy Cartwright which explores various approaches on guitars, with fingerpicking, bowing and slides, often with layered accompaniments. He has released a new album called Inlandscape which is out now via Fluid Audio. It was made mainly by capturing bowed guitar sounds on an old reel-to-reel tape machine, mixed with the double bass, tuba, trombone and violin played by guest musicians.
