The showcase festival and conference MENT Ljubljana has announced the lineup for its 11th edition from the 12th to the 15th of February. High-profile guests include BBC radio presenter and DJ Gilles Peterson, Irish folk band Lankum, English art rock trio Still House Plants, and Greek pop artist Σtella (full line-up here).
The CE/MENT electronic music programme, brings Special Request and Djrum, at their Slovenian debut. Plus the performances by members of Berlin’s Soul Feeder collective and the premiere of a new AV performance by DJ Opium Hum and visual artist Tasya. The CE/MENT conference, is hosting Elisa Luengo, music programmer at Dekmantel Festival; Marcus Scott, label manager at Hyperdub; Rob Booth, label manager and A&R at Houndstooth; Michail Stangl, curator of the experimental music festival CTM, and more.
The MENT Conference is the largest music conference in the region, speakers include Gilles Peterson, Paul Jones, A&R at the iconic UK label Rough Trade; Scott Cohen, music industry visionary and founder of one of the first and largest digital distributors The Orchard; Bronne Keesmaat, head and founder of Rewire Festival; and Michal Kaščák, head and founder of Pohoda Festival & many more.
