JARR, the ongoing collaboration between Jon Attwood of Yellow6 and Ray Robinson of Wodwo, are set to return with Afterimage, their fifth album for Sound In Silence. According to the press release, The 12-track, hour-long record traces an emotional passage through colour, moving from the warmth of yellow and pink toward the darker shades of purple, blue and grey.

Built around looping guitars, the album draws on the idea of the afterimage—the trace a colour leaves behind once it has disappeared. JARR also frame the record through the notion of a seven-year cycle, turning repetition and transformation into its underlying themes. Afterimage arrives as a handmade, hand-numbered edition of just 200 copies, mastered by George Mastrokostas.
