Czechia-based composer and sound artist blochemy has been quietly shaping his own corner of ambient music since the late ’90s, with releases scattered across labels including Hibernate, Shimmering Moods and Krysalisound. His fifth album for Whitelabrecs, elyth, continues that long-running fascination with texture, patience and small sonic shifts rather than obvious melody.

Synths, electric guitar, field recordings and tape-worn processing slowly bleed into one another, creating pieces that feel less composed than discovered. Most of the material began as improvisation, with blochemy leaving accidents and imperfections intact instead of sanding them into something cleaner.
