Tokyo-based Sachiko has spent years pushing her voice into the outer limits of drone, and The deep silent, dark graphite finds her making that space even stranger. She lets the voice disappear into layers of electronics, viola and near-total silence, surfacing only in fragments. The six pieces move with a glacial patience, their textures slowly shifting between weightless calm and something darker underneath. There’s no rush toward catharsis: the music hangs in the air, gradually exposing an emotional abyss beneath its still surface.
