Seattle trio Great Falls announce their new album The Bites That Grows Up, out October 16 via Neurot Recordings. Following 2023’s Objects Without Pain, the new album pushes their blend of noise, hardcore and extreme metal into even harsher territory. Produced again by Scott Evans, the record features guest appearances from John Schork and the late Kollapse guitarist Peter Clement Lund.
“Nicotine In The Spine” is the new excerpt. Guitarist/vocalist Demian Johnston explains, “The lyrics are based on an event that inspired the whole album. My child had continued to skip school and lie to us and, when confronted, decided to run away from home. The terror of this event really laid out how little control a father can have over a young adult child.”
