Djrum returns with “Leave Me Alone,” a new piece taken from his forthcoming contribution to the long-running DJ-Kicks series on !K7 Records. The track starts in a haze of ghostly cello, ambient fragments and fractured electronics before locking into a dense rush of percussion, balancing euphoria with a distinctly warped edge.

It sits inside a sprawling mix that pulls together everything from classical and post-punk to acid, breakcore and experimental sound design, with new material from Skee Mask and Clark alongside four fresh Djrum productions.

DJ-Kicks: Djrum is out on October 16, another reminder of how much territory his sound can cover without losing its pulse.
