Paris-based musician Théo Martin returns as Thme with Overleaf, a new album built from a few intense months of recording, where every sound eventually found a way into the final puzzle. Tape sits at the core, but digital processing pushes the material further, fragmenting, layering and reshaping recordings until their original forms become almost unrecognizable.

Accidents and imperfections aren’t cleaned up but folded into the composition, giving the record a tactile, unstable quality. The result is a slow-moving collage of transformed sounds, caught somewhere between analogue warmth and digital dislocation. Overleaf is out October 15 via LAAPS.
