Norwegian violinist, composer and sound explorer Hans P. Kjorstad returns with Inn, a new full-length out now via Phantom Limb. According to the press release, shaped by years of research into Scandinavian folk traditions, the album filters centuries-old melodic forms through ambient electronics and improvisation, resulting in a quietly transformative listening experience. Kjorstad treats it as a living, evolving language, allowing acoustic instruments and subtle studio techniques to reshape its contours.
