Bonobo has released a new album called Distance in Static, out now via Ninja Tune; the record brings together guests including Arooj Aftab, Nilüfer Yanya, Ichiko Aoba and Aanya Martin. The album finds Simon Green pushing his electronic sound further toward the dancefloor, while retaining his detailed, atmospheric approach to production. The album was recorded across several cities, including London, Tokyo and Los Angeles, with additional sessions at Neil Young’s Broken Arrow Ranch.
