Milan-based DJ and producer Sense Fracture (F. Birsa Alessandri) announces Tyrant Sun, a five-track EP arriving October 9 via their own Sounds of Paimon imprint. According to the press release, rooted in Alessandri’s ongoing research into Southern and Central Italian folk traditions, the record pulls rhythms from tarantella, pizzica and salterello into a harsher, psychedelic vision of contemporary rave music.

Frame drums, tambourines, accordions and mandolins collide with monstrous basslines and colossal kicks, transforming Mediterranean brightness into something darker, more confrontational and deeply physical. Lead single “Bug-Eyed” introduces the EP’s relentless drum-driven language, moving between elemental ritual and abrasive digital futurism while channeling the environmental and political tensions of Alessandri’s native Italy.
