Kill Alters, the project led by Bonnie Baxter, has announced We Can Rot Together, out October 16 via Hausu Mountain. The album finds Baxter pushing her cathartic songwriting into 90s/Y2K house, techno, and trance, combining rave rhythms with her increasingly unpredictable vocal performances. “DOUBLE-SLIT,” the first preview, arrives as a hyperactive collision of saw waves, acid bass, jittering drums, and operatic vocals. Baxter also incorporates childhood recordings and fragments of her upbringing into the album’s dense, digitally saturated sound.
