Berlin trio Roomer have announced their second album, Staircase Made of Rope, due September 18 via Squama Recordings. Following Leaving It All To Chance, the new record abandons polished arrangements in favor of improvisation, first takes, and studio accidents left intact. Their dreamlike guitar music expands into denser and more unpredictable terrain, where shoegaze haze collides with abrupt noise and fragile passages. Recorded across bedrooms, stairwells, and improvised setups, the album carries the intimacy of three friends making music without overthinking it. “Grey” is the new track.
