Vancouver experimental rock band Concrete Vehicles have shared “Text Stop,” the latest cut from their new 7-inch Cut Ties / Text Stop, out now via Dine Alone Records. Blending post-punk, jazz-rock, and abrasive experimentation, the track reflects on rural isolation and the lives we might have led, while pushing the band toward more unpredictable structures.
Its accompanying video, shot on 16mm film, casts the group as masked revolutionaries moving through a dystopian, retro-futurist landscape. Concrete Vehicles will tour the UK and Europe this summer, with appearances at All Points East, Reeperbahn, Leffingeleuren, and Platzhirsch.
