Good Health Good Wealth have shared “Susanna,” the third single from their forthcoming debut album The Disco Never Ends, out October 16. According to the press release, a bouncy, raucous love song, the track follows an attraction that survives despite a growing list of reasons it probably shouldn’t. Small details—from putting milk in before the tea to replying to your own messages—turn the messy romance into something funny, intimate, and painfully relatable. “Susanna” finds the London duo trading the darker edges of previous single “Who What Where Why” for a more immediate, hook-heavy stomp.
The band explain: “We wanted to write a proper stomper for the new album to give us a bit of light from the shadier moments while retaining that darker mood that the album has overall. Susanna is about that girl you’ll let walk all over you, you even let her off for putting the milk in before the tea bag, putty in her hands. We played it live for the first time at Boomtown and it did exactly what we were hoping, made the tent rattle.”
