A founding member of LA beat-scene collective Klipmode with Knxwledge and Mndsgn, Devonwho blends funk, beatmaking and electronic music. Portland producer returns to Leaving Records with TV2, his first album since 2021, due October 16. Built through live looping, hardware synthesis and instinctive sound design, the record explores what he calls “modern instrumental synthesiser funk therapy.” First single “Hibeams” pairs fluid arpeggios and grainy pads in a rhythmic, beatless flow.
