New Delhi artist Sijya returns with “Turbine,” a dense piece of electronic pop that extends the industrial textures of her Leather & Brass era. Distorted synthesizers, fractured rhythms, and atmospheric layers give the track a mechanical quality without stripping away its emotional core. Written around the same period as the EP, the song remained unreleased until now, offering another glimpse into Sijya’s increasingly experimental approach to sound. Its title comes from an early performance at London’s Tate Modern, where she first played the track inside the Turbine Hall.
