Djrum returns with I Wander, a concise study in fractured rhythm, harmonic tension and electronic abstraction. Across its shifting structures, Felix Manuel folds bass-heavy programming into classically inflected passages and finely detailed atmospheres, allowing contrasting musical languages to coexist without settling into a fixed form. The piece develops as a continuous 16-minute progression, while seven edited sections reveal different angles of the same composition. It is out now via Houndstooth.
