The intimate alt-R&B track turns emotional fallout into a study of self-preservation, pairing her soulful vocals with restrained, late-night production. Co-produced with longtime collaborator So Lo, the song finds Brown stepping away from relationships that have become limiting and reclaiming a sense of agency.
