Bonobo teams up with Joy Crookes on “Always on Your Side,” the latest single from his forthcoming album Distance in Static, due September 11 via Ninja Tune. Framed by Crookes’ soulful vocals and Bonobo’s richly textured production, the track leans into the record’s introspective side, blending downtempo electronics with understated melancholy. It offers another glimpse of an album that pairs global influences with intimate songwriting through a series of high-profile collaborations.
