Tyondai Braxton signed to Erased Tapes with the announcement of Splayed Werks, a sprawling new album which will be oout on August 21st. “Vali” is the new excerpt.

Marking his first full-length release since the recording of Telekinesis, the 70-minute project repositions Braxton within a more fragmented and electronics-focused framework, assembling short-form compositions built from dense sound design, unstable rhythms and experimental flow. He draws together material recorded between 2018 and 2025, reshaping previously released works and commissioned pieces into a continuous sequence that blurs the boundaries between IDM, electroacoustic composition, installation sound and leftfield club music.
