Experimental duo Civic Hall return with The Dead Bell, the follow-up to their 2023 debut The Trembling Line, via Lost Tribe Sound as part of the label’s Moss & Melee series. Comprised of Craig Tattersall and Euan Alexander Millar-McMeeken, the project refines its collage-based aesthetic into ten slow-burning songs where post-rock, ambient textures, and understated songwriting converge. Mastered by Alex of Quiet Details and accompanied by artwork from Andrew Mackenzie, the album balances intricate arrangements with intimate vocals, further cementing Civic Hall’s immersive and emotionally resonant sound.
