Leipzig-based composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Damian Dalla Torre has released People Pleaser, his latest album via Squama Recordings, following the acclaim of 2024’s I Can Feel My Dreams. Built from field recordings, acoustic instrumentation and understated electronics, the record transforms sounds gathered across Germany, Japan and the Italian Alps into a cohesive meditation on memory and human connection. It features contributions from Manami Kakudo, Laura Zöschg, Bertram Burkert and other close collaborators.
