Icelandic musician Kaktus Einarsson has announced his third solo album, Factoid Happiness, due September 18 via One Little Independent Records. Blending indie rock, electronic pop, disco and piano-led songwriting, the record reflects on how algorithms, social media and political polarization shape contemporary ideas of truth and fulfillment, ultimately placing human connection at its emotional core. Featuring collaborations with John Grant, RAKEL, Thibault Gomez and Jessica Winter, the album continues Einarsson’s genre-fluid evolution following Lobster Coda.
