Kassel Jaeger returns with Sub Re, a new album arriving via Shelter Press that further expands François J. Bonnet’s singular vision of electroacoustic composition. According to the press release, Drawing on field recordings, musique concrète, and meticulously sculpted sound matter, the record blurs the boundaries between environmental sound and abstract form, allowing dense sonic masses to emerge, dissolve, and continuously reshape themselves.
