London-based Nigerian composer and sound artist Ibukun Sunday returns with Olúsín [Worshippers], a new album arriving August 28 via Phantom Limb. Introduced by the luminous lead single “Amen,” the record weaves West African rhythmic traditions into expansive ambient compositions, where percussion, choral textures, and near-silent spaces become acts of devotion.

He lets it emerge through patient repetition and immersive sound design, crafting a deeply meditative work that expands the possibilities of Afro-ambient music with quiet, transcendent power.
