Announcing the first Dos Santos album in five years, “Money Gun” is a high-energy sweatbox cumbia that taps into the grupero jams that Dos Santos do best. It’s an unabashed celebration of the dancefloor – the movement, intimacy, and connections forged when people share space together.
Produced by Grammy-nominated Beto Martinez, Es Amor captures Dos Santos at their most distilled and direct, blending cumbia, son jarocho, psychedelic rock, jazz, and Afro-Cuban rhythms into a singular sound informed by the group’s roots in Puerto Rico, Panama, Mexico, and the American Midwest.
