With their debut album Thousand Fates, Paris duo Eightycuts channel krautrock lines, psychedelic experimentation and post-punk urgency into a constantly shifting sonic landscape. Inspired by the dreamlike labyrinths of Mircea Cărtărescu’s Solenoid, the seven-track record unfolds through evolving structures, hypnotic rhythms and abrasive yet melodic guitars, with occasional contributions from Frédéric D. Oberland. Produced and mixed by Camille Jamain, Thousand Fates arrives 25 September via Teenage Menopause Records.
