Belfast noise outfit Makeshift Art Bar have released their second EP, Marionette, a volatile collection that pushes the quartet further into the intersection of post-punk, industrial rock, and crushing experimental heaviness.
According to the press release, engineered by Daniel Fox, the record prioritizes texture and sonic manipulation, pairing warped electronics, abrasive guitars, and processed percussion with lyrics that confront cycles of control, alienation, and psychological unrest.
