Good Neighbours have returned with “Superstar,” an irresistibly bright new single that arrives in the wake of their breakthrough debut album Blue Sky Mentality. Written and produced by the duo alongside Jesse Fink, the track bottles the dizzy rush of infatuation into an anthemic indie-pop chorus primed for festival season.
“‘Superstar’ feels like the start of something new for us — the first glimpse of a rawer, more energetic sound,” said Good Neighbours. “It’s a shameless admission of catching feelings for someone you’ve only just met and instantly being all in. No pretending to play it cool, just embracing the excitement and chaos of it all, and being completely fine with losing your composure.”
