Beverly Glenn-Copeland has unearthed “Light Of The Heavens,” a previously unheard song recorded in the wake of his landmark 1986 album Keyboard Fantasies. Released alongside archival performance footage from the same period, the track extends the luminous blend of synthesizers and spiritual songwriting that would later make Keyboard Fantasies a touchstone for generations of ambient and electronic musicians.

The release arrives as the pioneering composer and transgender activist celebrates the album’s 40th anniversary and follows this year’s acclaimed collaborative LP Laughter In Summer with his wife and producer Elizabeth Copeland. Glenn-Copeland will also mark the milestone with a trio of Canadian performances in early 2027 dedicated to the music of Keyboard Fantasies.
