Fly Anakin has surprise-dropped (The) Forever Dream: Night Shift, a companion release that stretches the hazy universe of last year’s acclaimed collaboration with Quelle Chris into after-hours territory. Framed like a surreal late-night broadcast, the project pairs Anakin’s razor-sharp bars with beats from Quelle Chris, DJ Harrison, Graymatter, and Shungu. Guests including billy woods, Domo Genesis, $ilkMoney, and bbymutha drift in and out of the record’s dreamlike sequences. The release arrives ahead of a North American run with Domo Genesis this summer.
