Sydney duo Pamela release their new single “Better Than Before,” a restrained, melody-driven track centred on emotional recovery in the aftermath of heartbreak. Written by Josh Kempen and Sarah Ellen, the song was developed during a turbulent period and later refined into a more structured form, shifting from raw sketches into a focused, understated production.
Built around a hypnotic vocal line and a steady, hook-led guitar motif, the track highlights the duo’s emphasis on clarity and immediacy, balancing melancholy with a forward-moving sensibility. The release also coincides with the announcement of their forthcoming debut EP It’s Nice To See You Here, out on July 10th.
