Ocean Cage, the new collaborative album from ASIANDOPEBOYS, arrives today as a joint release between Kuboraum Editions and SVBKVLT. According to the press release, directed by Tianzhuo Chen and featuring KADAPAT, Nova Ruth, and Siko Setyanto, the project merges ritual performance, experimental electronics, and ancestral rhythmic structures into a dense, fluid sonic ecosystem.
Across the album, interlocking gamelan patterns, digital processing, spoken-word interventions, and percussive improvisation blur distinctions between sacred ceremony and contemporary club music, creating compositions shaped as much by movement and embodiment as sound itself.
