O’Flynn announces his third album Kairos, out July 17. Active since 2015, the UK artist has released on Ninja Tune, Blip Discs, and his own Hundred Flowers. “Kelsier” is built from sample fragments, percussive loops, and shifting rhythmic grids, with emphasis on groove construction.

The album revisits the approach of earlier work, using field recordings and found sound as compositional triggers. He explains: “Kairos’ has been over 3 years in the making and very much feels like the follow up to my debut ‘Aletheia.’ These albums are little snapshots into my life. Everything feeds into them, from family get-togethers, to the people I meet on the road touring, to little interactions I see out and about. It’s a real joy to be able to write in different genres across an album and try and put all these inspirations into music.”
