DJ Seinfeld returns with his third album If This Is It, due June 5 on Ninja Tune. Born in Malmö, Seinfeld developed his sound through lo-fi house before shifting toward more detailed production and wider tonal range.
“‘If This Is It’ is about reflecting on the past without dwelling in it, and finding harmony in restlessness,” Seinfeld commented. “Through writing it, I’ve tried to turn long-held anxieties into acceptance, and I hope listeners can take their own meaning from it”.
Title-track is the new excerpt which features spoken word artist and rapper Dan Whitlam. Listen below.
