German duo Phantom Horse return with Primal Forms, out now via Umor Rex, their first album in six years. Composed by Ulf Schütte and Niklas Dommaschk, the project continues their focus on kraut-informed structures and long-form electronic sequencing. Across the record, tracks unfold through slow rhythmic cycles, with synth layers and dub-influenced spatial effects shaping the mix. The album is sequenced as a continuous listen, prioritizing flow and duration over isolated tracks or abrupt transitions.
