Montreal trio SUUNS join forces with Dominican producer Kelman Duran for a self-titled collaborative LP, documenting an intensive, largely improvised session in late 2025. According to the press release, Recorded over six days with no precomposed material, the album foregrounds process as structure, assembling real-time edits, live signal processing, and spontaneous arrangement into a fluid, unstable form. Duran’s remote interventions—digitally transmitted and recontextualized—intersect with SUUNS’ hardware-driven setup, where MPC sequencing, guitar synth, and vocoder treatments generate a fragmented but cohesive sonic field.
