Leipzig-based composer Damian Dalla Torre returns with People Pleaser, out June 12 via Squama Recordings. Following Happy Floating and I Can Feel My Dreams, the new record centers on ensemble interplay and restrained arrangement. Lead single “Longitude” unfolds through guitar, woodwinds, and light electronic processing, with field recordings shaping the track’s spatial depth. Working with players including Bertram Burkert and Laura Zöschg, Dalla Torre builds compositions from collected fragments and location-based recordings.
