Deep Murble Sunrise is the new album of New York-based collective Coca Leaf. It includes ZZ Ramirez (Destruction Unit, Ukiah Drag, etc), David Vassalotti & Carson Cox (Merchandise, etc), and Ben Greenberg (Uniform, etc). The album will be out on July 14th via Wharf Cat Records.
Their sound mixes different styles: hard funk, jazz, noise, no-wave, free improvisation, and dub. “New Soft Dawn” and “Riding Ice” are two excerpts available for streaming. Listen below.
