BIRTHDAY is a new British duo that involves Fake Laugh and Luka Float. Fake Laugh’s Kamran was introduced to Luka at the producer’s London debut show @ Birthdays. Sharing the same musical aesthetics the two started working on an EP early 2016. Recorded in his childhood bedroom Luka sent ideas over to Kamran who was by the time staying at his father’s place where he grew up. Childhood nostalgia influenced a mix of Kamran’s dreamy vocals and Luka’s laid back productions fusing with warm analog textured guitar tones. Watch the official video for “We Need to Talk“. The track shoes the melodic textures with dreamy vibes and fluid rhythms movement. Directed by Luka Seifert.
