Jordan Max is a 23 years-old Oldham-based musician and songwriter. A few weeks ago we shared the full streaming of his debut ep Only one is King that is out tomorrow via Full + Bless.Watch the official video for “Hell” directed by HECTOR.
The narrative in this debut video (directed by HECTOR) is inspired by real life events in Jordans life. Before Jordan had discovered he could sing or had played an instrument, he saw the film Ray about Ray Charles and this inspired him to learn the piano. Jordan found someone local giving away an old upright piano and the next day him and his mates (who actually feature in the video) went and picked it up and carried it through the streets back to Jordans flat – he then taught himself to play piano and wrote the music that would later become his debut EP – ‘Only One Is King’.
