Last Year we introduced the London-based singer-songwriter ALA.NI (aka Alani Charal). She just announced her first full-lenght You And I. You & I (due June 3) was recorded in Damon Albarn’s Studio 13 (ALA.NI’s previously sung back-up for the likes of Blur & Mary J Blige) and centres around ALA.NI’s previous four-strong EP cycle, which documents a frustrated love affair. “Darkness At Noon” is the new excerpt tha shows the power of her wonderful voice.
