Last year we mentioned a lot Pleq, the project of Polish artist Bartosz Dziadosz and one of our favorite artists. After the collaboration with Giulio Aldinucci and the wonderful project 1816, he released a new solo album titled Kingdom Hall via Moderna Records. Full streaming is available below.

‘The title track from this album was made for the spectacle, which premiered in June 2015 at the Theatre Zagłębie in Sosnowiec (Poland). The drama is directed by my dear friend Tomasz Śpiewak, who told the story of one of the biggest religious sects in the world – “Kingdom Hall” is the meeting place for Jehovah’s Witnesses.

This is one of my most important and most personal records, which set a new direction in my work.” – Bartosz Dziadosz (Pleq)

Bartosz Dziadosz (Pleq) teamed up with classically trained musicians to deliver an album fusing modern classical, ambient and avant -garde. With layered organic sounds as canvas for Julien Marchal’s piano, Tomasz Mrenca’s violin and the cellos of Aaron Martin +Peter Hollo , Kingdom Hall sets the mood for a reflective journey of haunting yet ascending brilliance. Throughout official remixes of Ben Lukas Boysen and Marcus Fjellström’s songs is shaped a meticulous work on mood contrasts culminating into Jason (offthesky) Corder’s palindromic recomposition of the opening.
