Last year we introduced Nrec, the project of the musician and producer Enrico Tiberi. Signals (out on Musica Cruda) is his debut album. His work features Daniele Strappato, Kendra Blak, Claudio Nigliazzo and Anacleto Vitolo. We’re glad to premiere his new video for the track “Videodrome” directed by Mattia Fiumani.
Mattia Fiumani is a 33-year-old italian-born director and designer. After completing his Architecture Bachelor in Sydney and his Architecture Masters in Switzerland, Mattia worked as an architect before pursuing the film-making career. Mattia lived in Berlin for 3 years, a time in which he has worked as a set designer and as a director of photography for several short films, commercials and music videos. Mattia went on directing music videos, commercials and other documentary work, with year 2014 taking him to Hollywood to collaborate with producer Suzanne deLaurentis and to direct “Colonize the Moon”, the psychedelic collaboration with LA hip-hop producer Busdriver.
In 2015 Mattia’s screenplay “Footbolitics by Quinto” has been shortlisted by the Sundance Institute to
compete for the prestigious Screenwriters Lab 2016. He is currently writing the second draft of the same screenplay while working on 3 original treatments: a sci-fi, a thriller and a western.
